MESSAGE OF OCTOBER 1ST 1983,
AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL
OUR LADY:
My
children, my children; don´t close your ears. The end of times is close. The world, my children, is changing its
seasons; the stars will lose, my children, will lose their movements; the moon
will light faintly with a red light. My children, when these things happen, you
must be ready because the end of times is close.
Yes, my
children; receive your… (she speaks in an unknown language). Tell
them, my child.
Accept the
graces, my children, given by My Immaculate Heart because the end of times is
close.
The soil
will produce bad crops, bad fruits, my children. Water
and light will cause great tremors to the earth, my children. It will be
appalling, it will be horrible, my children. Big cities will collapse.
My children,
change your lives, do not offend God anymore; he’s so offended by your sins!
Pray God the Father. All this movement is about to happen.
Kiss the
ground, my child; to make amends for the world’s sins…this act of humbleness,
my child, is good for the conversion of sinners.
My children,
I warn you; don’t laugh at my warnings. The end of ends is close, my children.
I appear to little and
uncultured souls to confuse the powerful, my children.
Look at my
Heart, my child, it’s bleeding because of sorrow for all my children, for all
of them, without distinction of races… (Luz Amparo
cries when she sees the Virgin’s Heart). Don’t touch it, my child, they haven’t
been purified.
My child, so
many people laugh at my messages! Poor souls! Kiss the ground again, my
child. Humble yourself…
do not feel bad if you humble yourself, my child. Think that if you humble
yourself you will be high before God’s eyes. Poor souls those who laugh at my
messages!
And you, my
child, you are going to receive a little message… (she
speaks in unknown language). This is what I ask, my child; I ask this of you; I
want you to be humble, my child; without humbleness, you cannot get to Heaven.
Write a name
in the Book of Life, my child…This name, my child, will never be erased; it’s
written in the Book of Life.
You’re going
to drink some drops from the chalice of sorrow, my child, it’s coming to its
end; and when it comes to its end, it’ll be horrible, my child… It’s very
bitter, my child, it’s very bitter; this is the bitterness my heart feels every
day when I see millions and millions of my children falling down to the bottom
of the abyss.
Be on the
alert, my children, the enemy is laying in wait and the ten kings of the enemy
are laying in wait too, my child. They are spread among the four angles of the
Earth to take as many souls as they can.
Be humble,
my children, without humbleness you cannot get to Heaven. Love each other, as my
Son loved you when he was on Earth, my children. I’ve told you lots of times
that you cannot love God if you don’t love your neighbor because God is in the
neighbor, my children; and if you don’t love your neighbor whom you see every
day, my children, how can you love God if you don’t see him?
Preach all
around the world, my children; spread the messages, my children. So many laugh
at my messages! Take them to every corner of the Earth.
Raise all
you objects; all will be blessed, my children…

COMMENTARY UPON MESSAGES
October 1st 1983
“My children, my children; don´t close your ears. The end of times is
close. The world, my children, is changing its seasons; the stars will lose, my
children, will lose their movements; the moon will light faintly with a red
light. My children, when these things happen, you must be ready because the end
of times is close.” (The
Virgin)
Our lady warns us of the season’s change; this topic is becoming an
everyday matter in our society but at that time (1983) got everybody’s
attention. No scientific approach will be given here about “the climate change”
(nature phenomenon, variations of temperatures, season’s changes, etc.)but we will refer to an aspect we cannot doubt from the point
of view of our faith: human beings’ moral behavior affects the environment.
With respect to this we must refer to the relationship in the Book of Genesis between
man and the created nature, over which God gave him the power: “God created man in the image of
himself, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. God
blessed them, saying to them, 'Be fruitful, multiply,
fill the Earth and subdue it. Be masters of the fish of the sea, the birds of Heaven and all
the living creatures that move on Earth.' (Gn 1,
27-28). At the beginning there was a perfect harmony between Nature and our
first parents. What destroyed that harmony? The Catechism of the Catholic
Church when talking about Adam, Eve and the original sin says, The harmony in
which they had found themselves, thanks to original justice, is now destroyed
(…) Harmony with creation is broken: visible creation has become
alien and hostile to man. Because of man, creation is now subject "to
its bondage to decay". (Rm 8, 20)” (1)
Once the
harmony of creation disappears, the History of Humankind becomes a chain of
breaking- offs and reconciliations between God and Human Beings. The Universal
Flood is an example of how the moral disorder, the corruption of that
generation affected nature: Yahweh saw that human wickedness was great on Earth
and that human hearts contrived nothing but wicked schemes all day long. Yahweh
regretted having made human beings on Earth and was grieved at heart. And Yahweh said, 'I shall
rid the surface of the earth of the human beings whom I created -- human and
animal, the creeping things and the birds of heaven -- for I regret having made them.' (
Gn 6, 5-7). Pope Benedict XVI is also
concerned about this relationship
between man and nature; indeed, he talked about the “the urgent need to respect
nature as we should, recovering and appreciating a correct relationship with
the environment in everyday life” (2)
and not long ago he pointed out clearly the consequences of human actions on
everything created showing a right view on the climatic matter: “We see this
today, with the climatic problems, how the foundations of the earth are shaken,
how they are threatened by our behavior. The external foundations are shaken
because the internal foundations are shaken, the moral and religious
foundations, the faith that follows the right way of living (…) undoubtedly,
the foundations of the Earth cannot be shaken if they remain close to the
faith, to true wisdom.” (3) the Catechism of the church is clear: “The seventh commandment
enjoins respect for the integrity of creation. Animals, like plants and
inanimate beings, are by nature destined for the common good of past, present,
and future humanity.195 Use of the mineral, vegetable, and animal
resources of the universe cannot be divorced from respect for moral
imperatives.” (4).
The
following prediction of Our Lady - “…the moon will light faintly with a red
light” - coincides with several passages of the Bible that refer to the end of
times, topic we have already discussed in previous commentaries:

“For in the
sky the stars and Orion will shed their light no longer, the sun will be dark
when it rises, and the moon will no longer give its light. I am going to punish the
world for its wickedness and the wicked for their guilt, and put an end to the pride of the
arrogant and humble the haughtiness of despots.” (Is 13, 10-11)

The sun will be turned
into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the Day comes, that great and
terrible Day. (Jl 3, 4)

quotation, as well as in so many others in Prado Nuevo messages, there are
several connections to the Sacred Scriptures. This is shown in the following
