MESSAGE OF MARCH 24th 1984

AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL (MADRID)

 

THE VIRGIN

 

            "My Heart exudes joy, my child, because all human beings have been consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, my child. The Vicar of Christ. My beloved son, my child, this man has consacrated the world, my child; now human beings should take those graces that My Heart pours on all my children every day.

 

            This appointment is very important, my child, because I must warn you, my child: be careful with those prophets coming to this place. They don't talk against God, but they aren't fulfilling the eighth commandment of God: "You will not lie". And they're lying, my child. They use our names as a child uses a toy: he destroys it. Be careful, my child, with those prophets.

 

            I also want to ask you, my children, a statue in honour of my name with the badge of my beloved son, the Vicar of Christ, in white and yellow colour.

 

            It will be hard to get this, my child. You must go directly to the cardinal. Nobody should stop you, my child; they will humillate you, but my Son was humiliated too and you aren't more than my Son, my child.

 

            I've warned you: be careful with false prophets who don't talk against me but behave against us because they aren't fulfilling that commandment established by the Church and for the Church, my child.

 

            Look, my child, your suffering has been so deep; it's worthy to suffer; you were nothing and my Son is polishing you to take you high, really high. Become little, my child, be humble; sometimes you don't fulfill this commandment...(a word impossible to understand) of your Mother, my child...

 

            THE VIRGIN

 

            It's a long time, my child, since you haven't drunk the chalice of sorrow. You'll drink a few drops; you know it's almost over. Take it, my child.

            My child, is it bitter? A lot of people would prefer this bitternes to going down to the bottom of the abyss! I‘ve said before that my warnings would be over, my child; but now I‘m so happy when I see that My Immaculate Heart depends...depends on you, my children!

 

            I'm warning you. I'm a mother and, as a mother, I must warn you, my children. If a mother sees her child falling down a precipice, she runs for him and hols him in her arms, my child.

 

            You don't know the seed that is germinating, my child; it fell on rich soil. Don't suffer for those that fell     among burrs; as they fell among burrs, they got dry. This happened because they wanted, my child, for I've been telling them to change for years.

 

            Penance, my children, penance and sacrifice together with prayer.

            Visit the Holy Sacrament, my children; my Son is sad and lonely.

            I want this statue to be taken to Rome, my child, so that the memory of  my son be everlasting, my child (She refers to John Paul II). This will be very hard, but you'll get it with my help.

           

            Raise all your objects, my children...all these objects have been blessed, my child; they will be good for the salvation of souls. This is the most important thing: the soul, it is the most important thing. I've said it lots of times: body isn't worthy, it won't be used even for dung, my child.

 

            I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you through the Son and with the Holy Spirit.

 

            Humbleness, my child, I ask you humbleness. If they slander you, humiliate yourself, my child; my Son was slandered, He was called "possessed", "vagrant". And a disciple isn't more that his Master, my child. Kiss my foot, my child, as a reward for your sufferings. ( Luz Amparo eagerly kisses the air with great joy).

COMMENTARY UPON MESSAGES

MARCH 24th 1984

 

 

            "My Heart exudes joy, my child, because all human beings have been consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, my child. The Vicar of Christ. My beloved son, my child, this man has consecrated the world, my child; now human beings should take those graces My Heart pours on all my children every day." (OUR LADY)

 

            Our Lady refers to a relevant ecclessial event: the consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, done by the Blessed John Paul II at Saint Peter Square, in Rome, in March 25th 1984, third Sunday of Lent.

 

            Pope John Paul II had suggested two days for this consecration, as he says in the apostolic letter sent to all the bishops around the world so that they join him doing this consecration in communion with him (December 8th, 19839: ‟The most fitting date for this common witness seems to be the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord during Lent 1984. I would be grateful if on that day (24th March, on which the Marian Solemnity is liturgically anticipated, or on 25th March, the Third Sunday of Lent) you would renew this Act together with me, choosing the way which each of you considers most appropriate”.

 

            On Saturday 24th , during the Rosary at Prado Nuevo, that consecration was done following the one John Paul II had written, which was         similar (with some changes though) to Fatima's, in May 13th 1982. As it was first Saturday of month, there were lots of pilgrims in El Escorial.

 

            In this message Our Lady considers the consecration of the world as a fact and shows her joy for all human beings consecrated to her Immaculate Heart.

            The devil, father of lie (Jn 8, 44) shows himself as angel of light to produce confusion and uses human beings to get that: "for false Christs and false prophets will arise and provide great signs and portents, enough to deceive even the elect, if that were possible" (Mt 24, 24). Saint John also warns us in his first letter: ‟My dear friends, not every spirit is to be trusted, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets are at large in the world”.(1 Jn 4, 1). Likewise, Saint Paul wrote: ‟There is nothing astonishing in this; even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2Co 11, 14).

 

            In the messages of Prado Nuevo, we are warned against false prophets once more. They have gone to Prado Nuevo more than once, especially, during the first years. Here are some tips to help us distinguish between the true and the false prophet:

 

            False prophets spring up all over; some are simple fortunetellers, others are influenced by the "lier and the father of lie" (Jn 8, 44). However, there are also true prophets in the Chruch of Jesus Christ. The profecy of Amos says " No, indeed, Lord Yahweh does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets"

(Am 3, 7). Those false prophets referred to in the messages are so different to the authentic ones! The former may be identified with current visionaries who search for fame and money; the last ones do not want to be on the limelight (although people know them) and tell us the warnings of Heaven. False prophets scrutinize God's plans, they pretend to know about them and lie; meanwhile, true prophets just say what Our Lord shows them, they really suffer- like Luz Amparo- when they have to stir up conscience matters for the good of souls knowing this will not bring them  flatteries but contempt. False prophets use ways forbidden by God and disapproved by the divine word: "There must never be anyone among you who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire of sacrifice, who practises divination, who is soothsayer, augur or sorcerer, weaver of spells, consulter of ghosts or mediums, or necromancer. For anyone who does these things is detestable to Yahweh your God; it is because of these detestable practices that Yahweh your God is driving out these nations before you." (Dt 18, 10- 12). Authentic prophets speak in the name of God, they do not manage to know the future or pretend they know it; they only say it if God compels them to do so, which hardly happens.

 

            Fortunetellers, so popular these days, are constantly wrong in their predictions because they speak in their name; however, those who are the voice of Heaven will see their prophecies fulfilled. The Book of Deuteronomy offers us a key for discernment: "Anyone who refuses to listen to my words, spoken by him in my name, will have to render an account to me (...) When a prophet speaks in the name of Yahweh and the thing does not happen and the word is not fulfilled, then it has not been said by Yahweh. The prophet has spoken presumptuously. You have nothing to fear from him." (Dt 18, 19. 22). It also might help the fact that those who practice fortune-telling do not accept advices but they live  their way; on the contrary, those who fulfill a mission given by the Lord obey the Church and its hierarchy and they accept eagerly spiritual direction. Luz Amparo fulfills all these requirements.
