MAY 5th 2012, FIRST SATURDAY OF MONTH

AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL (MADRID)

As it happened last month, Luz Amparo could not communicate Our Lady’s blessing because of her illness. However, the Virgin will keep on blessing the pilgrims, as She said in the messages of Prado Nuevo : “ …All those who come to this place will be blessed” (The Virgin, June 7th 1986). “Come to this place, there will always be graces here” (The Lord, December 7th 1991).

MESSAGE 8TH APRIL 1984

AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL (MADRID)

THE VIRGIN:

My child, I’ll show you the place to build the Chapel, my child…(Luz Amparo walks in ecstasy following the directions of the Blessed Virgin). Take off your shoes, my child. From this place to that part of the last tree, my child, length and width; width, up to this place, my child… (Luz Amparo walks barefoot over rocks and mud towards that tree).

I’ve said everything, my children. Measure this place, my children, width and length. Come back where you were before…(Luz Amparo in ecstasy walks back to where she was).

And now, my child, I only wanted to say how I’d like my Chapel, my child; I want people from all around the world to come here, to get in this chapel, my child. Measure what I’ve shown you. There is no excuse, my child, because I’ve said everything.

LUZ AMPARO:

(Crying) It doesn’t depend on me, it doesn’t…ay!...

THE VIRGIN:

I’ve told you to talk to the bishop, my child; I said it a long time ago.

LUZ AMPARO:

                (Still crying) Ay…I can’t, and I couldn’t go there!

THE VIRGIN:

Go away, my child; it’s the moment. And I’ll tell you to go to the Cardinal later. My child, the statue I’ve asked must be done, but you have to talk to the Bishop first; I manifest so often because I want this message to be fulfilled.

LUZ AMPARO:

I can’t, ay …I can’t, I can’t, ay..! (These words are hardly understood as Luz Amparo is crying a lot).

THE VIRGIN:

Go, my child, it’s up to you; but don’t waste more time, my child. You’ll suffer a lot; they`ll call you insane.

LUZ AMPARO:

No, don’t let that happen, don’t let that happen.

THE VIRGIN:

I’ve told you, my child, that your destiny is to be a victim. My child, obey my messages; if what I ask is not given, that won’t depend on you., my child. Kiss the ground, my child, to make amends for poor sinners, my child…

I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you, through the Son and with the Holy Spirit.

                Bye, my children, bye.

COMMENTARY UPON MESSAGES

April 8th 1984

“My child, I’ll show you the place to build the Chapel, my child…(Luz Amparo walks in ecstasy following the directions of the Blessed Virgin). Take off your shoes, my child. From this place to that part of the last tree, my child, length and width; width, up to this place, my child…

I’ve said everything, my children. Measure this place, my children, width and length. Come back where you were before…” (The Virgin)

The message we have to comment this month deals with the chapel Our Lady has always asked for; curiously, we have just known the Cardinal Archbishop of Madrid has authorized its construction. Once the proceedings required by the council of El Escorial are fulfilled, the chapel will be built and lots of graces will be poured on all those who fulfill Our Lady’s promises.

1984 is the year with more messages as they could happen any day; from June 1985, they started to take place each first Saturday of month. That day, April 8th 1984, Our Lady made Luz Amparo walk barefoot among mud and stones; indeed there are pictures showing her feet full of  mud.

Take off your shoes, my child…” is a request that reminds us of that one Yahweh asked Moses in the Horeb, before the burning bush. “When Yahweh saw him going across to look, God called to him from the middle of the bush. 'Moses, Moses!' he said. 'Here I am,' he answered. 'Come no nearer,' he said. 'Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”[i]

“Go away, my child; it’s the moment. And I’ll tell you to go to the Cardinal later. My child, the statue I’ve asked must be done, but you have to talk to the Bishop first; I manifest so often because I want this message to be fulfilled.”

We have already talked about two important aspects: the statue in the commentary of the message on March 24th 1984 and the reason why Our Lady wants Luz Amparo to talk with the Bishop. With respect to the former, it was made by Portuguese pilgrims and it has the characteristics described in that message; it is similar to the image painted by Elvira Soriano, who died recently (November 7th 2011), and called “Glorious Virgin of John Paul II). Dealing with the last, let us remember that Luz Amparo did not understand why The Virgin had asked her to talk with the Cardinal as Ángel Suquía Goicoechea was the Archbishop of Madrid-Alcalá; that would happen the following year (May 25th 1985), which could be seen as an announcement.

“I’ve told you, my child, that your destiny is to be a victim. My child, obey my messages; if what I ask is not given that, won’t depend on you, my child.” (The Virgin)

She reminds her of her condition of victim soul, a group of souls chosen by the Lord to fulfil his plans of salvation. She had explained her several times before, “…my Son chose you as a victim, my child; you have to be strong. He chose you as a victim for the good of all Humankind, my child, for the salvation of souls” (September 9th 1983)

The Chapel was a wish Our Lady had asked for a long time and all pilgrims have longed for; however, it is only now that the Church has approved it when the construction permit has been requested to the local authorities; this could not be differently as we are children of the Church and follow the spirit of obedience taught in the messages. For this reason, Luz Amparo was asked to talk with the Bishop and “if what I ask is not given, it won’t depend on you”, The Virgin says.

However, if what the Immaculate Heart of Mary is fulfilled, “there will be healings” as She had already promised in her first message of Prado Nuevo: “I am Our Lady of Sorrows. I want a chapel to be built in this place in my honour. I want people to come here from all over the world to meditate on the Passion my Son endured, because it is forgotten. If they do people will be cured. This water will cure”
