MESSAGE OF APRIL 1ST 1984

AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL, MADRID

OUR LADY:

My child, today I’ve come to clarify something, my child.

Last Saturday, some humans doubted three things I said, my child. They asked you and you didn’t know what to say; you also doubted, my child… (Luz Amparo starts crying sorrowfully).

Don’t cry, my child; you aren’t humble and you doubted my words. You asked me before and I didn’t answer to you because I wanted everybody here to know that you aren’t humble, my child. Before clarifying these three questions, kiss the ground, my child; for your humbleness, my child, and for all human beings…

The first question, my child, refers to the Cardinal. I told you to go and talk with the Archbishop a long time ago but you, my child, haven’t done so. Therefore, I tell you now to go to the Archbishop and the Cardinal, my child.

The second one is about the Church, the Commandments of the Church; I said that they had been made by the Church and for the Church. Yes, my child, because each human being is Church, my child; and as all human beings are Church… (Impossible to understand because of crying) that is why God set the Commandments by the Church and for the Church, my child. And you all are the Church.

The third one is about the consecration of the world. The world was consecrated last Sunday. I told you to join my beloved son, the Vicar of Christ, so that the consecration wasn’t that same day, my child. But the consecration was already on my beloved son’s mind. That is why I say that you aren’t humble because you doubted my words. This is the reason for my presence here today, to clear up these questions.

Now, you’ll kiss the ground for poor sinners…for poor sinners, my child; to make amends for all the world’s sins.

I only wanted to advise you, my child, to be humble and never doubt my words again, although they say the enemy may confuse all this or this may be the enemy’s work.

Go on, my child; Once I told you, “The enemy can’t do good deeds; he always destroys, my child; he never builds”. That’s why I ask you to be humble; the enemy cannot take possession of humble souls, my child. And don’t doubt me; you must be very humble, very humble, my child.

Don’t cry, because humbleness can be achieved if you want.

LUZ AMPARO:

(She’s crying) So many things…! So many things…!

OUR LADY:

But, my child, what are these worldly things everybody enjoys good for if you lose your soul in a second, my child?

LUZ AMPARO:

Help me! Help me!

OUR LADY:

I’ll help you, my child, but you should think that you’re a victim, a victim to make amends for the world’s sins. Humbleness and sacrifice. Without humbleness and sacrifice you won’t get to Heaven, my children.

Don’t doubt Heaven messages, they can’t be confused with those of the enemy. And don’t follow false prophets; the world is full of false prophets.

I’ll bless you, my children. I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you through the Son and with the Holy Spirit. Raise all your objects…all have been blessed; they will be good for the conversion of sinners.

                Goodbye, my children, goodbye.

COMENTARY UPON MESSAGES

April 1st 1984

“My child, today I’ve come to clarify something, my child.

Last Saturday, some humans doubted three things, my child. They asked you and you didn’t know what to say; you also doubted, my child… (Luz Amparo starts crying sorrowfully).

Don’t cry, my child; you aren’t humble and you doubted my words.”

Our Lady talks about the message of March 24th 1984 (Saturday), which we had already commented upon previously (commentaries of January and February 2012). As you can read, some people had doubts about it and She wanted to throw light on it the following 1st  April. Luz Amparo had been asked three questions but she didn’t know the right answer. She was sad when Our Lady corrected her and reminded her of what had happened.

“The first question, my child, refers to the Cardinal. I told you to go and talk with the Archbishop a long time ago but you, my child, haven’t done so. Therefore, I tell you now to go to the Archbishop and the Cardinal, my child.” (Our Lady)

There are more messages where Our Lady asks Luz Amparo to talk with the Bishop: in this case, she had to go to the Archbishop because the area where Prado Nuevo is located was the Archbishopric of Madrid- Alcalá at that time; later, this was divided into two in 1991. The Diocese of Alcalá was founded again because, although it had been independent a long time ago, it was joined to Madrid from 1964 to 1991, when the capital was declared archbishopric.

When Our Lady said to Luz Amparo, “Therefore, I tell you now to go to the Archbishop and the Cardinal” she was confused because D. Angel Suquía Goicoechea was the archbishop of Madrid- Alcalá and he hadn’t been named cardinal of the Catholic Church, which would happen a year later, on May 25th 1985. Therefore, Our Lady referred to D. Angel in a prophetic way.

“The second one is about the Church, the Commandments of the Church; I said that they had been made by the Church” (Our Lady)

“The Commandments of the Church (…) they had been made by the Church”. Is She referring to the Five Commandments of the Church established by the ecclesiastical authority? Or is She referring to the Ten Commandments taken by the Church tradition, that is faithful to the Tradition and follows the example of Jesus”? (1).This last could be the real meaning of Our Lady’s words because, among other reasons, it keeps a relationship with the previous message (March 24th 1984. The meaning of the preposition “by” was explained in the commentary of February. Therefore, in a free translation, the sentence we are analyzing could be “… the Commandments of the Church (…) they had been made to be used by the Church and for the benefit of the Church”

“The third one is about the consecration of the world. The world was consecrated last Sunday. I told you to join  my beloved son, the Vicar of Christ, so that the consecration wasn’t that same day, my child. But the consecration was already on my beloved son’s mind. That is why I say that you aren’t humble because you doubted my words. This is the reason for my presence here today, to clear up these questions.” (Our Lady)

The Virgin had said in the message of March 24th 1984 (a week before this one we are commenting on) that “The Vicar of Christ, my beloved son, my child, this man has consecrated the terrestrial globe” anticipating the consecration in some places as John Paul II had offered the possibility of doing it on Sunday (March 25th),as he did, or the day before  (March 24th), as it was done in Prado Nuevo.

“Go on, my child; Once I told you, “The enemy can’t do good deeds; he always destroys, my child; he never builds”. That’s why I ask you to be humble; the enemy cannot take possession of humble souls, my child. And don’t doubt me; you have to be very humble, very humble, my child.” (Our Lady)

Curiously, the name of Satan in Greek – apollyion- means “destroyer” because “the enemy (…) always destroys” and “never builds”, as Our Lady says. He tries to hurt souls as much as possible, to destroy the life of Christ in souls and, if he could, the life of each human being. The Virgin asks us to be humble because “the enemy cannot take possession of humble souls”. Pope Benedict XVI has recently said remembering the Book of the  Imitation of Christ " as long as he lives, man is never wholly free from the temptation... but with patience and true humility we become stronger than any enemy" (2)
