I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you, through the Son and with the Holy Spirit."

MESSAGE OF JULY 25th 1983, ST. JAMES APOSTLE

At Prado Nuevo del Escorial (Madrid)

OUR LADY:

My children, pray for the peace of the world, especially for Spain, my children; be good apostles as your patron saint was a good apostle; but do not fight with swords, my children, fight with prayer and sacrifice to make amends for the salvation of the world, my children.  Pray for Russia, my children, the dragon with seven heads is in Russia, my children; it wants to seize most of Humankind.  Ask my Immaculate Heart for the conversion of Russia. My children, if you do not pray and make sacrifice, Russia will be the scourge of Humankind; ask for its conversion, my children, but with prayer and sacrifice.

Do not take your sword to fight; on the contrary, put your sword in the scabbard and take your weapon: the holy Rosary.  Without prayer and sacrifice, my children, the world will not be saved.

I ask you sacrifice, sacrifice, my children, for those poor souls. They need prayers so much! The devil has gotten inside their minds overshadowing their intelligences and they have used them to build atomic appliances to destroy most of Humankind.

Yes, my children, pray for the conversion of Russia and China; they can be the destruction of most of the world, my children; however, the weapon of the Rosary can save you and your enemies too, my children.  Sacrifices, sacrifices, I repeat, my children, listen to your Mother and pray to my Immaculate Heart, because this Immaculate Heart will succeed in the end, my children.

Help Jesus Christ to relieve Him from the cross He carries for those poor souls who do not want to accept the word of God; be apostles, my children, and preach the word of God all around the world.  Be united, my children, you will have to save the world when that moment comes, my children.  But Jesus Christ will succeed, my children, although the Beast wants to seize lots of souls.

Prayer, my children, prayer I ask you; keep on saying the holy Rosary, say the three parts, because lots of souls will be saved by the Rosary, my children; but I say it again:  get right with God, my children and go to the sacrament of Confession to receive the sacrament of the Eucharist; visit the Blessed Sacrament, my children.  My Son is sad and alone; console him, my children, console him, because the world is at the edge of the precipice, and human beings do not change, my children.

Kiss the ground, my child, to make amends for all the sins of the world...  This act of humbleness, my child, is good to make amends for all the sins of the world; humiliate yourself, my child; you should think that if you humiliate yourself, you will be praised before God`s eyes; do not feel embarrassed, my child, but be humble, be humble and offer you as a victim to make amends for all souls.

There are so many souls, my child, who do not know God’s word because nobody has told them about my Son and they need it so much, my children! Preach God’s word all around the world; that is the salt my Son speaks of in the Gospel. Be apostles, my children; all of you can be apostles and help your neigbours; if you do not love your neighbour, you do not love my Son, my child, and if you do not love Jesus Christ, you will not get to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Kiss the ground again, my child; this act of humbleness, although they laugh, my child, although they laugh, is very valuable, my child.  When  He was on Earth, My Son humiliated himself constantly before the Father putting with his head on the ground...  My child, kissing the ground is a,  very valuable act of humbleness.  My child, I ask you to be humble, to be very humble; without humbleness you will not get to Heaven

Coming to this place to say the holy Rosary pleases me so much, my children! All those who come here to say the holy Rosary will be blessed, my child, and as I told you at the beginning, my child, lots of them will be marked with the cross of the chosen.

However, my children, you have to be humble and make sacrifices. Thousands of years ago, in my first apparitions on Earth, my children, I talked about sacrifice, sacrifice and prayer; Listen to me and the world will be saved.  Without sacrifice and without prayer the world cannot be saved, my children.

I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you in the name of the Father with the Son and through the Holy Ghost.

Raise all your objects, my children; all will be blessed...

Good-bye, my children.  Good-bye.

COMMENT ON THE MESSAGES

July 25th, 1983

“My children, pray for the peace of the world, especially for Spain, my children; be good apostles as your patron saint was a good apostle; but do not fight with swords, my children, fight with prayer and sacrifice to make amends for the salvation of the world, my children.  Pray for Russia, my children, the seven- headed dragon is in Russia, my children; it wants to seize most of Humankind.  Ask my Immaculate Heart for the conversion of Russia. My children, if you do not pray and make sacrifice, Russa will be the scourge of Humankind; ask for its conversion, my children, but with prayer and sacrifice.

Praying for peace is so important! It is so necessary that it can only be obtained as a gift of God by imploring it.  Peace on Earth will not be possible just by means of meetings among politicians and diplomatics, although, of course, any initiative in search of peace and dialogue among the peoples is good; however, permanent and authentic peace has its roots in the compliance of God’s Law; otherwise, there will not be results or they will not be permanent or complete. For this reason, St Gregory Nacianceno wrote, “Peace is a good recommended to all, but observed by a few.  Which is the cause of it? Maybe it is a desire of control, or ambition, or envy, or abhorrence of our neighbour, or any other thing that we can see in those who do not know our Lord. Peace comes from God, who unites everything"[1].

Spain is also one of the worries of the Mother of God; therefore, she asks prayers for this Christian nation that was firstly evangelized by one of the Twelve Apostles: James Major, who is its patron saint too. Spain has been referred to in the messages several times; some of them are the following:

"My child, pray a lot for the peace of Spain and the whole world" (Our Lord, November 23rd 1980).

"Tell them that if they do not listen to me (...) there will not be work and there will be lots of misfortunes, especially in Spain" (The Virgin, May 1st 1981).

• "My child, ask all of them to pray a lot for my beloved son, Pope John Paul II, and the peace of Spain" (The Virgin, September 8th 1981).

“... Pray for the peace of Spain.  My children, Spain is in a great danger; pray and do penance" (The Virgin, October 12th 1982).

Our Lay’s words “be good apostles as your patron saint was a good apostle; but do not fight with swords" reminds us of an evangelical passage where Jesus warns us similarly:  "And suddenly, one of the followers of Jesus grasped his sword and drew it; he struck the high priest's servant and cut off his ear. Jesus then said, 'Put your sword back, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. "[2].  It is one of the scenes of the movie "The Passion of the Christ", where Peter cuts off Malco’s right ear[3], the high Priest’s servant.

Seeing what was going to happen, the apostles wanted to solve the situation with the things they had.  Peter, the most determined of all, makes use of the sword, almost without thinking of it; it is a reaction due to his Galilean soul and his inflammable temperament when he saw the disproportion of people and weapons.  But the Lord does not only remedy the offense but he warms Peter to keep his weapon away. The disciple wanted to avenge at the oriental way putting into practice the Talion Law; however, because of the new evangelical law, the Master told him to put the sword back, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.  Legitimate defense was not denied but it woud have been imprudent, because of the disproportion in the number of people, and useless because his hour had come; besides, from that moment on, they would have to practice the virtue of charity in a especial way.  Our Lady’s words should be understood in this same evangelical sense when she says:  “...fight with prayer and sacrifice to make amends for the salvation of the world." and further down, in the same message: "Do not take your sword to fight; on the contrary, put your sword in the scabbard and take your weapon: the holy Rosary ".

The dragon with seven heads can be understood as Satan, if we set us in the corresponding appointment of the Apocalypse:  " Then a second sign appeared in the sky: there was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and each of the seven heads crowned with a coronet (...).  And now war broke out in Heaven, when Michael with his angels attacked the dragon. The dragon fought back with his angels, (...).  The great dragon, the primeval serpent, known as the devil or Satan, who had led all the world astray, was hurled down to the Earth and his angels were hurled down with him "[4].  During the message Our Mother insists on the value and importance of the Rosary in the following sentences, written here as a kind of homage to Mary’s favourite prayer, to which the Church dedicates the month of October, the month of  the Rosary:

“...the weapon of the Rosary can save you and your enemies too, my children ".

• “...keep on saying the holy Rosary (…) because lots of souls will be saved by the Rosary, my children ".

 • "Coming to this place to say the holy Rosary pleases me so much, my children. All those who come here to say the holy Rosary will be blessed ".
