MESSAGE OF JULY 30th 1983

At Prado Nuevo del Escorial (Madrid)

     OUR LADY:

     My child, this message will be short, my child, because I have said everything from the beginning to the end. Tell human beings, my child, not to offend the Divine Majesty of God the Father, they hurt him so much and his wrath will fall upon Mankind immediately, my child. I ask sacrifices, my child, sacrifices and prayer. This is my message, my child: love one another as my Son loved you, my child.

     Yes, my dear, humans have turned the world into a scene of crimes, pleasure and envy, my dear. Be not like Cain, my children, be like Abel, who offered Jesus the best fruits of his harvest; do the same, my children. Do not laugh at your Mother’s messages, so many, my dear, so many of you laugh at my messages! Poor souls, I feel so sorry, my child! You, my child, I still repeat: Be small, humble, my child, be humble, because without humbleness, my child, you can not get to Heaven.

     Kiss the ground, my child, in as act of humbleness, to make amends for all sins ... Blessed, my child, blessed are those who humiliate themselves, as I have said lots of times, because they will go high, very high, they will rise to the highest abodes of the Eternal Father. So, my children, without humbleness, without charity, without faith you can not get to Heaven. Be humble, my children, my son wants apostles but He cannot find them, my child, He wants apostles for the last times, but Humankind gives nothing in return, my child, they do not give sacrifices and prayers in return.

     Yes, my child, consecrated souls need prayer, my child, and the sins of consecrated souls are crying out for Heaven’s revenge. My children, pray for these poor souls, I feel so sorry, my children, I love them so much! Angels in Heaven will do justice, my child, for that revenge. That is why I ask you, as Mother of Love and Mercy, to pray for all souls; I do not want them to condemn themselves; they all are all my children, my child, all without distinction of race. For this reason, I warn you, my child, I want you to put your lives in order and pray and make sacrifice, for the time is close, very close my children, very close, it is not long, seconds, my children, I've been warning you for a long time, my children. I want you to sacrifice, to go to the Sacrament of Confession and visit the Blessed Sacrament, my Son is sad and lonely with open arms waiting for you all, my children; give him half an hour, my children, He is so sad and lonely!

     Ask graces to my Immaculate Heart, this Immaculate Heart wants to pour out graces on all of you, my children. Ask as my Son did, "Ask and you shall receive", my children, but ask for your soul, do not ask only for your body, your body is worthless, my children, bear in mind that your soul is the most important thing; your salvation or condemnation depends on you, my children, but whatever you choose, it will be for all, all eternity, my children.

     The world is coming to its end, but I want Men to change, I want you to put your lives in order. My children: you will be given a warning and you will see your soul reflected as in a mirror, all you have been during your entire existence(1), my child, your whole life. Men will never come to know that mystery of God, my children, lots of people will be horrified at that time, my child, and they will not even want to believe in God's word. So I ask you, my children, ask the Holy Ghost for light when the time comes, if you have its light you will understand God's purposes, which are mysterious and hidden.

     Yes, my dear, you still have to suffer, but you should think it's for the good of Humankind, my Son chooses victim souls for the salvation of Men.

     Kiss the ground again for consecrated souls, my child, for those souls who offend the Divine Majesty of God ... It is necessary, my child, that you practice this humiliation everyday, kiss the ground every day, my child, all day long. It is an act of humbleness for you too, my child, to make amends for your sins. You should think, my child, He has not chosen you for your mysticism but for your miseries, my child. So I ask you to humiliate yourself, my dear, and let yourself be humiliated. This humiliation will also be good for all souls. During the day this act of humbleness is good to save humankind, my child, to make amends for the sins of the world. Be humble, my children, and with your prayers and sacrifices you can save lots of souls, my children, so I often show myself because the time is coming and Men do not change. The end of ends is close, my children.

     I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you in the name of the Son and with the Holy Ghost.

     Raise your objects, my children, all objects will be blessed and lots of them will receive special graces for the healing of a sick person...

Receive my blessing, my children.

     Farewell, my children. Bye

COMMENTARY ON MESSAGES
July 30TH 1983

     “Tell human beings, my child, not to offend the Divine Majesty of God the Father, they hurt him so much” (Our Lady).

       To value this initial lament of the Virgin Mary, we would have to look at the meaning of the phrase "Divine Majesty," which has been said dozens of times in Prado Nuevo messages. 'Majesty' is a word derived from another Latin one, "maiestas", that means "greatness." Currently, it is used to address the monarchy ("His Majesty the King") and it is also used as a title or treatment of reverence to God (the Divine Majesty of God "). For this reason, Aquinas states that "
because a sin committed against God has a kind of infinity from the infinity of the Divine majesty, because the greater the person we offend, the more grievous the offense. Hence for condign satisfaction it was necessary that the act of the one satisfying should have an infinite efficiency, as being of God and man”.(2)

     Sure we offend God! But He also calls us to repent and ask forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a source of peace and joy. This was explained on one occasion by Pope John Paul II: "Do not extinguish this joy which springs from faith in Christ, the crucified and risen Christ! Bear witness to your joy! Educate to enjoyment of this joy! (…) It is the joy of God's forgiveness, by means of his priests, when one has, unfortunately, offended his infinite love, and, having repented, returns to his Father's arms)(3)

 “Yes, my dear, humans have turned the world into a scene of crimes and of pleasure and envy, my dear. Be not Cain, my children, be like Abel, who offered Jesus the best fruits of his harvest; do the same, my children”. (Our Lady)

     She describes briefly the situation of the world in 1983, although it cannot be said it has improved since then; on the contrary we could affirm it has worsened. Saying this does not mean being pessimistic but realistic. If you just watch the news every day in the media, you will see the world is still "a scene of crimes and pleasure and envy”. Constantly murders, kidnappings, terrorist attacks, unrest of any kind ...are committed, without forgetting the silent cry of so many children that are not given birth because of the "unspeakable crime" of abortion, as it is called by the Vatican Council II(4).

     The mention of Cain and Abel brings to mind some passages, firstly the book of Genesis, which tells us that Abel makes a pleasing offering to God, while Cain does not: "Yahweh looked with favour on Abel and his offering. But he did not look with favour on Cain and his offering” (Gen. 4: 4-5). That is, God was pleased with the offering of Abel, because he did it sincerely, giving his Creator the best he had, as the Divine Majesty deserves. On the contrary, He did not accept Cain's offering because it is understood that he gave God reluctantly not so good offerings. That is why St. John says in his First Letter “his own actions were evil and his brother's upright.(1 Jn 3, 12). Also the righteousness of Abel is seen in the Letter to the Hebrews: " It was because of his faith that Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain, and for that he was acknowledged as upright when God himself made acknowledgement of his offerings. Though he is dead, he still speaks by faith "(Heb 11, 4). This righteousness is what the message compels us to achieve: "... do the same, my children" says the Blessed Virgin, who had also said in a previous message: "Do not be Cain be like Abel. Do not offer God the worst fruits of your harvest; offer the best"(20th January, 1983).

     If we compare this message with the First Letter of St. John, we find a curious coincidence with a reference to Cain and Abel related to the commandment of love:

* Our Lady says:

     "This is my message, my child: love one another as I loved my son, my child (...).

     Do not be like "Cain," my children, be like Abel "(July 30th 1983).

* John says:

     “This is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we must love one another,

not to be like Cain, who was from the Evil One and murdered his brother. “(1 Jn 3, 11-12).

 “That is why I ask you, as Mother of Love and Mercy, to pray for all souls. I do not want them to condemn themselves; they are all my children, my child, all without distinction of race”. (Our Lady)

     How will the Blessed Virgin not suffer seeing all her children getting lost? God "
wants everyone to be saved" (1 Tim 2, 4). God’s Mother watches constantly for this same desire that leads her to intercede for our souls all the time. "For- as St. Irenaeus says- she, being obedient, became the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race." (5)
