MESSAGE OF FEBRUARY 24TH 1983,

AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL ( MADRID)

(After the holy Rosary, while returning home, Luz Amparo felt the pains of the Passion of Christ and her eyes, forefront, hands, knees and feet started to bleed.  Once she knelt down, in ecstacy, she received the following message).

THE VIRGIN:

Look, my child, explain what you see.

LUZ AMPARO:

I can see an Angel with a measure and Elijah with a small book. It is neither a Roman nor a scale what the Angel is carrying; it has like two balloons, one in each side, with lots of windows.  On one side there is a golden cross and crosses in the windows; on the other side there are three numbers: 666, a crushed head of a snake with four eyes...  In the upper part, among the eyes, there are an S and a Z. Elijah, who is next to the Angel, is carrying a bushel and is throwing wheat from a sack; the wheat falling down next to the cross balloon’s side turns into grains of gold, it is fallling by its sides and, as it is falling, it turns into rays of light. The wheat thrown in the other turns black and, as it is falling, it turns into blood and darkness and, among that darkness, I can see everything sinking.

Now I can see mountains collapsing and falling down on people, lots of them remain buried and die.

No, no!  Oh, not that, no, no, not that!  So many convents! There are lots of convents; the Angel and Elijah get in; they put some of them to a side and the other to the other side; there are a few chosen among them all.  Where are you carrying them? Where are you carrying them? No, no...  (Luz Amparo moans).  No, no, not that, not that...  I can see that the chosen convents are left next to the trees and the other convents (many more) where the mountains are collapsing.

THE VIRGIN:

My child, ask God for mercy; we are at the last time. It is seconds for the Punishment.  My child, tell them what you can see.

LUZ AMPARO:

That is Saint Peter; at that moment, he will choose a new Pope. People will live the Gospel.  The evil will go to the bottom of the abyss.  Look at all those there. People do not take into account my messages.  It will be horrible.  They think God is merciful; but they do not think that He is also a very severe judge and He will judge each one according to his works.

THE VIRGIN:

Look what you can see now.

LUZ AMPARO:

I see how the mountains collapse.  There will be great earthquakes in Rome and it will be almost completely destroyed.  I see the Vatican sinking.  All this is approaching in time.

THE VIRGIN:

Be careful, my children, the enemy is lying in wait to carry souls. Pray and make sacrifice for the poor sinners. Angels are prepared to be sent by God the Father for the Punishment.

LUZ AMPARO:

I see five trees.  There is an angel on each tree.  One has a very large cross with a book, and the other four have a trumpet.  The trees are very high and they are animal-shaped at their top: an eagle, a lion, a human body, animal hooves, and a bull or a buffalo.  What are those five trees on this land?

THE VIRGIN:

This land is the Promised Land of the chosen.  Jesus will reign like the King of kings on this Land.  There is light everywhere.  However, look at this other place: death, death and darkness everywhere; it will be horrible.  Human beings do not listen.

The celestial ships are prepared to take the chosen to the Promised Land.  These ships will come surrounded by blue light, like a cloud. Do not laugh at my warnings, my children.

Look, my child, blood is flowing everywhere. Human beings have brought it on themselves; they do not want to be humble.  If you love your neighbor, you will love my Son.  All those called children of God must love their neighbour.  You have to descend very low to rise very high.  You, my child, let others humiliate you.  All those slandered because of my Son will be given a reward, my child.  Take shelter, my child, in our Hearts.  My Immaculate Heart will reign above all Humankind.

Be humble, my child, be humble.  Kiss the ground, my child, for all sinners.  Make sacrifices.  I want you to sacrifice more for poor sinners.  The world is in a great danger.  Kiss the ground again for my consecrated souls.  Humbleness is what I ask.  Be humble, my children.

I bless you, in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

COMMENT UPON THE MESSAGES

February 24th 1983

The chronicle of that day, February 24th, 1983, says:  After the holy Rosary, while returning home, Luz Amparo felt the pains of the Passion of Christ and her eyes, forefront, hands, knees and feet started to bleed.  Once she knelt down, in ecstacy, she received the following message

The Virgin begins with an invitation to contemplate a vision:  "Look, my child, explain what you see." And so does Amparo:

“I can see an Angel with a measure and Elijah with a small book. It is neither a Roman no a scale what the Angel is carrying; it has like two balloons, one on each side, with lots of windows.  On one side there is a cross of gold and crosses in the windows; on the other side there are three numbers: 666, a crushed head of a snake with four eyes...  In the upper part, among the eyes, there are an S and a Z. Elijah, who is next to the Angel, is carrying a bushel and is throwing wheat from a sack; the wheat falling down next to the cross balloon’s side turns into grains of gold, it is fallling down its sides and, as it is falling, it turns into rays of light. The wheat thrown next to the other turns black and, as it is falling, it turns into blood and darkness and, among that darkness, I can see everything sinking. Now I can see mountains collapsing and falling down on people, lots of them remain buried and die”

Elijah is one of the most famous characters of the Old Testament, as it is mostly shown in the two books of the Kings.  Besides, another biblical book praises him:  "Then the prophet Elijah arose like a fire, his word flaring like a torch. It was he who brought famine on them and decimated them in his zeal. By the word of the Lord he shut up the Heavens, three times also he brought down fire. How glorious you were in your miracles, Elijah! Has anyone reason to boast as you have? Rousing a corpse from death, from Sheol, by the word of the Most High (…) taken up in the whirlwind of fire, in a chariot with fiery horses (...) such was Elijah, who was enveloped in a whirlwind; and Elisha was filled with his spirit; throughout his life no ruler could shake him, and no one could subdue him. No task was too hard for him, and even in death his body prophesied. In his lifetime he performed wonders, and in death his works were marvellous. "(Si 48, 1-5.  9. 12-14).

The prophet Elijah has a very significant role at the end of times, according to what can be understood from different prophecies.  The Sacred Scriptures tell us several moments of his life as a prophet; the old interpreters identify him, together with Henoc, with the two witnesses of the Apocalypse:  "But I shall send my two witnesses to prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, wearing sackcloth. " (Rv 11, 3).  It coincides thus with the message of September 25th 1981, which has already been commented before, where both —Elijah and Henoc— are called "witnesses of Jesus", and this would explain the reason why the Bible does not speak of their death, but of their mysterious disappearance:  " When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask for whatever I may do for you, before I am taken from you." Elisha answered, "May I receive a double portion of your spirit." You have asked something that is not easy," he replied. "Still, if you see me taken up from you, your wish will be granted; otherwise not. As they walked on conversing, a flaming chariot and flaming horses came between them, and Elijah went up to Heaven in a whirlwind." (2 K 2, 9 - 11). "Elijah, for his burning zeal for the law, was taken up to Heaven." (1 Mac.  2, 58).  "Then Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer here, for God took him." (Gn 5, 24).  "By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and "he was found no more because God had taken him." Before he was taken up, he was attested to have pleased God. "(Hb 11, 5).

What can we say about the number of the Beast?  In the first place that it appears in the Book of Revelation:  "Wisdom is needed here; one who understands can calculate the number of the beast, for it is a number that stands for a person. His number is six hundred and sixty-six."( Rv 13, 18), where the consequences for those who let him seal them with that number are shown, at the time of the great tribulation:  " It forced all the people, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to be given a stamped image on their right hands or their foreheads, so that no one could buy or sell except one who had the stamped image of the beast's name or the number that stood for its name. " (Rv 13, 16-17).

The Hebrews and the Greeks used the letters of the alphabet as numerical signs.  It is not difficult to find names whose letters have the value of 666; because of it, there have always been names (Nero, etc.) to whom to apply this figure; however, it should be applied to the Antichrist for it is, in its essence, the culmination of the humanism that challenges God.  Another symbolic explanation to this figure of the Beast is the number seven (7) means fullness, and eight (8) is the number of the eternal happiness.  Thus, six (6) would be the number of the imperfection, repeated in the Revelation three times (666) to indicate the highest imperfection.

The following description given by Luz Amparo ("Now I can see mountains collapsing and falling down on people ") reminds us of an evangelical passage: “for indeed, the days are coming when people will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed.' At that time people will say to the mountains, 'Fall upon us!' and to the hills, 'Cover us!' for if these things are done when the wood is green what will happen when it is dry?"

 (Lk 23, 29-31).

The last lines of the message refer to truly mysterious revelations for which we cannot offer an explanation; they will be understood at that historic moment.

(1) In the first Saturday of July, the blessing was different as She only mentioned the Father and not the three Persons of the Trinity as She always does.
