I bless you, my children, as the Father
blesses you, through the Son and with the Holy Spirit.
MESSAGE OF 23rd OF APRIL 1983
OUR LADY:
I will only ask you to make sacrifices, my
children, because you don't make sacrifices for poor sinners.
I want you, my child, to choose
apostles for the last times. You, my child, must make sacrifices. The time is
close and men don't change. I want you to gather in this place, make vigils, my
children, and offer them for the peace of the world, because the world, my
child, is at the edge of the precipice, my child. Make sacrifices, listen to my
warnings, and don't laugh at them, my children. I am warning you on and on to
save you. I'll tell you who you'll choose to be apostles of the last times.
I keep on saying: I would be very
pleased if a chapel was built in this place in honour of my name- they don't
listen to me- and if you gathered here to meditate upon My Son's Passion. My
children, take pity on My Immaculate Heart, My Heart will triumph; take refuge
in it. I'll spread my graces around the earth so that you can get the celestial
abodes.
I want you, my children, to keep on
saying the holy rosary; I would be pleased if the three parts were said. You'll
save lots of souls, my children, with the rosary, the sacrament of confession
and the Eucharist. You Merciful Mother, overwhelmed by sorrow, asks this from
you. Don't be ungrateful.
All, my children, all those who seek
refuge in My Immaculate Heart and take the Eucharist every first Saturday of
month will receive their reward in heaven, I promise; however, my children, you
have to go to the sacrament of Confession first. So many of you haven't done it
yet! You don't think your soul is in a great danger.
Yes, my children, I would like a
chapel to be built in this place in honour of my name. They don't listen, my
children; if you don't listen to my messages, you'll be punished, my children.
You, my child, must be humble, make more sacrifices and offer them for poor
sinners.
Kiss the ground, my child…, for
consecrated souls. So many consecrated souls are pulling souls to the abyss, my
child! Pray for them, my children, I love them so much and they are so
ungrateful!
Look, my child, look at my
Immaculate Heart, it's exhausted with grief for all my children, for all
without race distinction. Take four thorns away, my child. With your prayers
and sacrifices four have been purified. Take them away fearlessly, my child,
don't be afraid, my child, you must be happy: four have been purified thanks to
your prayers, my children. Your prayers please me so much!
Write another name, my child, in the
Book of Life… There are lots of names, my child, in the Book of Life; these
names will never be erased.
Offer yourself, my child; offer
yourself as a victim to make amends for all the sins of the world. It's worthy
suffering, my child, to receive a great reward.
Kiss the Book, my child…this name
will never be erased.
Offer yourself to make amends for
consecrated souls; my child, help me to carry the Cross with my Son.
Kiss my feet, my child…
You are not going to drink the
chalice of sorrow, a little is left, my child. God's Mercy's chalice is up to
the top, my child, it's overflowing. The Father, my child, will send his angels
to judge all Humankind, and He'll give you according to your works.
Love your neighbour,
my children; if you don't love your neighbour, you don't love God.
And you, my child, humiliate
yourself, let them slander you. Think of my Son, my child; he was making
miracles and he was called possessed and they didn't believe in him. So, if
they didn't believe in my Son, you aren't more than Him, my child. Think that
My Son chose you, you didn't choose him; therefore, you have to make yourself
little, very little, to go up high, very high.
My children, I bless you, because
the Father blesses you through the Son and with the Holy Ghost.
Bless and praise your God, my
children, for only He can save you through the intercession of his Mother.

COMMENTARY UPON THE
MESSAGES
“I will only ask you
to make sacrifices, my children, because you don't make sacrifices for poor
sinners.
I want you, my child, to choose
apostles for the last times. You, my child, must make sacrifices. The time is
close and men don't change. I want you to gather in this place, make vigils, my
children, and offer them for the peace of the world, because the world, my
child, is at the edge of the precipice, my child. Make sacrifices, listen to my
warnings, and don't laugh at them, my children. I am warning you on and on to
save you”.
What
should we understand when Our Lady talks about sacrifices? A recent commentary[1] explained that"Penance" as virtue is different from doing
"penances" as "sacrifices". Therefore, The Virgin wants us to make sacrifices;
this spirituality is present in the Gospels.
The
Holy Scripture teaches us the necessity of sacrifice and self-denial to love
God and our neighbor. Jesus says clearly, "If you want to follow me, deny
yourself, take up your cross and follow me. For whoever chooses to save his
life will lose it, but the one who loses his life for my sake will find
it" (Mt 16, 24-25). Consequently, to be a true disciple of Jesus, we must
deny ourselves: our evil inclinations, selfishness, pride, lust, comfort, etc.
We must accept humbly the crosses Our Lord gives us to purify us of our sins
and offer it all for all the offences against Jesus' and Mary's Hearts, as
Prado Nuevo's messages teach us
· " Kiss the ground, my child, to make amends for so many many
blasphemies committed in the world against Jesus' and Mary's Hearts" ( The Virgin, December, 1st 1990)
· "Love Our Hearts, they are so offended, my children. Love Mary's
Immaculate Heart and Jesus' Divine Heart" ( The Virgin, September 3rd 1994)
· "Fight, my children, and don't let words praising you or comfort
for your body conquer you. Be loyal to God's will. Love Our Hearts. ( The Virgin,
When
suffering or experiencing any trial, those crosses Our Lady talks about, we
often say, "Is there no other way to get to Heaven?" However, if we
reflect upon Jesus' life, we can see that from the manger to the Calvary He
walked a path full of fatigues, humiliations and works which finished with his
Passion and Death on a Cross. If there had been any other safe path, he would
have done it; but He knew it was the only one, and He was the first to walk
along it so that we could follow his tracks:
"And when I am lifted up from Earth, I shall draw all to
myself" ( Jn 12, 32).
Thus,
we must make lots of sacrifices and works of love, for love is always a sacrifice
to be authentic. And this is not always a complicated matter. Saint Francis de
Sales teaches us in his immortal work Introduction
to the Devout Life "all true and living devotion (…)
presupposes the love of God (…) and indeed it is neither more nor less than a
very real love of God And forasmuch as devotion consists in a high degree of
real love, it not only makes us ready, active, and diligent in following all
God’s Commands, but it also excites us to be ready and loving in performing as
many good works as possible, even such as are not enjoined upon us, but are
only matters of counsel or inspiration."
Another
topic is the apostles of the last times but, since we talked about it before[2], we
will not deal with it now. Besides, it is not easy to know it clearly and,
therefore, it is almost a mystery.
As you can read in the message the
Virgin asks for a chapel in her honor twice and She says one of its aims is to
meditate upon Jesus' Passion I keep on saying: I
would be very pleased if a chapel was built in this place in honour of my name-
they don't listen to me- and if you gathered here to meditate upon My Son's
Passion. (…) Yes, my children, I would like a chapel to be built in this place
in honour of my name."
The Immaculate Heart of Mary is mentioned several times as well as a
promise to the practice of taking the reviving Communion on first Saturdays of
month:
· "My children, take pity on My Immaculate Heart, My Heart will
triumph; take refuge in it."
· "All, my children, all those who seek refuge in
My Immaculate Heart and go to the Eucharist every first Saturday of month will
receive their reward in Heaven, I promise."
· "Look, my child, look at my Immaculate Heart, it's exhausted with
grief for all my children, for all without race distinction. Take four thorns
away, my child. With your prayers and sacrifices four have been purified"
Finally,
Our Lady insists again on the commandment of charity, mentioned so many times in
the messages of Prado Nuevo: "Love your
neighbour, my children; if you don't love your neighbour, you don't love God."
