BLESSING OF JANUARY 7TH 2006. FIRST SATURDAY OF MONTH.
AT PRADO NUEVO OF EL ESCORIAL (MADRID)
I bless you, my children, as the Father blesses you, through the Son and with the Holy Spirit.
Raise all your objects; all will be blessed for your protection.
November 6th 1982
“My child, I’m your Mother, only your Mother can save you, my children; I want to save you, my children. I ask you, my children, to spread my favourite prayer everywhere around the world, my children. This prayer is the holy rosary, my children; its light will save you. My children, you’ll overcome Satan with the holy rosary” (Our Lady)
As in many other messages, the reader has probably noticed the frequent use of the expressions “my child”, “my daughter” “my children” used by Our lord and Our Lady to address Luz Amparo and people in general. Obviously, from the linguistic point of view, these words are excessive and unnecessary; however, from the point of view of their deep sense, they are a sign of the great love of Jesus’ and Mary’s Hearts for souls. Indeed, the sermons of the saint “Priest of Ars” contain this reiteration as a sign of his zeal for souls (1).
Moreover, the great Catholic thinker, André Frossard, wrote in a book (2) dedicated to saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe, “The mystic has the ability to say everything in a word; it is a name, the name of the person that groups all possible thoughts (…) for saint Theresa of Avila, that name that says everything is Jesus, always written with an exclamation mark, a graphic symbol of the ecstasy. In her visions, saint Catherine of Siena repeats indefinitely “God, God, O holy God…” (…). For Kolbe this inexhaustible and revealing word is Mary and he writes it at the beginning and at the end of all his letters and articles; and he feels that he lights a candle, a lamp or a star; and he is not tired of making wreaths or milky ways with it. Humble hearts listen to Him because sanctity always finds them ready; the others regard him monotonous in their blindness”. To summarize, the fire of love of Mary’s Immaculate Heart and her Son’s is reflected in that continuous memory of our filial relationship as sons and daughters of God and Mary.
There is again another reference to the rosary to exalt its power to defeat Satan. Saint Louis Mary Grignion of Monfort exhorts vehemently, “Take the sword of God, the holy rosary. You will destroy the head of the Demon and resist all temptations with it. For this, the material rosary is so terrible to the Devil, and saints have used it to chain him and throw him away from the possessed, as many stories demonstrate” (3)
“Look, my child, my Heart is suffering so much for sinners! Help me, my child to save souls! You are also mother, my child; if one of your children went to the bottom of the abyss, think of the sorrow you’ d feel (…) look at my heart, my child, I suffer so much…for all my children no matter their race, my child. For me, sorrow always exists, my child; think that I suffered not only at the cross but I am also suffering everyday for all Humankind”
These words are so full of love! She, as our Mother, always takes care of all her children and her Heart is pierced when She sees her children’s souls walking along paths of destruction.
Although we talked about the mystery of Jesus´ and Mary’s Hearts´ sufferings on the commentary included in the blessing April 2nd 2005, today we are referring to what Our Lord said to saint Bridget of Sweeden; she and Luz Amparo have lots of things in common (she was married, mother of several children, with similar charismas, she was founder and the revelations she received also show aspects of Jesus Christ’s Passion). This moving text says,
“What sorrow is this caused by man if I am unalterable and unmoved and God who lives eternally? Man causes me a kind of sorrow when he goes away from me because of sin. And not because sorrow could exist in me; I suffer like man who usually suffers for other’s disgrace. I suffered for man when he did not know what sin and its importance were, when he had no prophets or law and he had not heard my words yet. But now I suffer to cry, although I am immortal, when after knowing my love and will he behaves against my Commandments and shamelessly sins against the judgment of his consciousness; and I am afflicted too because they know my will and they go to Hell to a lower depth than that they would have gone if they had not known my Commandments.
Man also hurt Me although I am God and invulnerable when he piled sins on sins. But now men are hurting me more because they not only multiply their sins but they boast of them and do not repent of them” (4)
At the end of the message, Our Lady mentions Russia to get its conversion, as Our Lady of Fatima also did, asking for an act of consecration of this nation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (we should remember that the Berlin Wall stood still at that time and the Soviet Republic was powerful). She warns us of the dangers threatening the world and the situation of Spain (which is referred to twenty times in the messages). Finally, Our Lady invites Luz Amparo to write a name on the Book of Life.
“Ask, my children, my Immaculate Heart, ask, my children, for the conversion of Russia; my child, the world is in a great danger. Spain doesn’t want to save itself, my children, it doesn’t want to save itself. Write another name, my child… this name, my child, won’t ever be erased”.
