AT PRADO NUEVO. EL ESCORIAL (MADRID)
OUR LADY:
Raise all your objects; all will be blessed against the Enemy’s temptations. Always keep the rosary in your pocket, my children.
I bless you as the Father blesses you, through the Son and with the Holy Spirit.
COMMENTARY UPON MESSAGES
March 5th, 1982
Firstly, Our Lord comforts Luz Amparo in her sufferings; He encourages her and explains the reasons and the fruits of those sufferings she is enduring joined to Christ’s Passion; He reminds her of other souls who have also been chosen to share with Jesus the offering of sorrow; He shows how deeply consecrated souls’ contempt hurts him, " Yes, my daughter, many souls suffer like you in order to strengthen other souls to prevent them from committing a sin. Keep on offering your sorrows for those two souls who are changing. My daughter, go on praying for them, for my chosen souls, for my consecrated souls; I love them so much that I’m burning with desire to join to them. The more I’m burning with desire, the more they’re despising me"
Then, He earnestly shows again his sadness and love, which willingly hopes being given love in return by those souls in particular," I want to be received daily in the Holy Communion with humbleness, with love. I offer myself as a traveller, devoured by thirst, who is offered a drop of water and, after receiving it in his lips, He is even thirstier than before. In this way, my daughter, I sigh constantly for those souls who despise me. Like this, I suffer for all my souls. How much pity I feel for them! I suffer for them so much…!"
Next, Our Lady confirms her evangelistic mission around the world by means of her apparitions, " I have shown myself in several places around the world, but they don’t mind my apparitions. Humankind is in a great danger. They don’t want to repent of their sins. They don’t turn their eyes to God. Say the Rosary everyday, my daughter, for the conversion of sinners, for the world’s peace. If they don’t repent, The Eternal Father will to vent his wrath on all Humankind"
On the other hand, we should not forget those false apparitions where the Devil appears dressed as an angel of light. In fact, in his second letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Saint Paul warns us against this danger, "In reality, they are false apostles, deceivers disguised as apostles of Christ. It is not surprising: if Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" (2 Co 11, 13-14 ). Our lord explains to Luz Amparo in a message which was already commented on some months ago, " I’ve revealed all this to many souls, I’ve given my messages to the world in order that people may have time to repent, but they‘ve turned deaf ears because Satan shows himself in false apparitions to seduce many souls; and they do believe him" (January 22nd 1982)"
After that, Our Lady goes on opening her Heart, full of love and sorrow, " How ungrateful they are! They profane My Son’s Body, they despise Christ’s Redemptory Blood, they live in mortal sin without any fear". Regrettably, how little importance we attach to sin! How many souls live in mortal sin without considering the seriousness of their state! The Church’s Catechism teaches, " Mortal sin destroys charity in the heart of man by a grave violation of God's law; it turns man away from God, who is his ultimate end and his beatitude, by preferring an inferior good to him. Venial sin allows charity to subsist, even though it offends and wounds it." (1) "For a sin to be mortal, three conditions must together be met: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent." (2) Why does She warn sorrowfully those souls living fearlessly in mortal sin? Because, as the Catechism says, "Mortal sin is a radical possibility of human freedom, as is love itself. It results in the loss of charity and the privation of sanctifying grace, that is, of the state of grace. If it is not redeemed by repentance and God's forgiveness, it causes exclusion from Christ's kingdom and the eternal death of hell, for our freedom has the power to make choices for ever, with no turning back. However, although we can judge that an act is in itself a grave offence, we must entrust judgment of persons to the justice and mercy of God."(3)
Finally, with respect to the great value of the Rosary, let us consider these words:" Tell all of them that I really like what they’re doing: going from town to town saying the Holy Rosary. The Holy Rosary is the most powerful thing. By means of it, my daughter, the whole Humankind can be saved" How deep but simple the Rosary is! How effective it is! How much joy such a wonderful prayer produces on Mary’s Heart!
Indeed, as well as she did in Tuy (Pontevedra) to sister Lucia, and previously to the three little shepherds in Fatima ("I will come to ask the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart and the repairing Communion on first Saturdays" July 13th 1917), She says, " those who say the Rosary everyday and receive Holy Communion on first Saturdays of each month, I promise that I will assist them at the moment of their death".
When She says that it is the most powerful thing, it means that it is the most valuable devotion of all. In fact, according to Beatus John XXIII, " The Rosary, as a practice of Christian devotion, follows in importance the Holy Mass and the Breviary; and for the laity it follows the participation in the sacraments".(4) Certainly, The Rosary has a special gift to get the graces of Heaven by the intercession of Mary, and it is extraordinarily powerful to fight against the forces of evil. This is pre-eminently the Marian prayer and it results in great fruits, some of them are pointed out in this message, " It’s a precious help to fulfil the Commandments, receive efficiently the sacraments, look for perfection, fulfil the divine will, contribute to the salvation of souls, get the conversion of sinners…" (Our Lady).
