COMMENTARY ON MESSAGES (*)
November 22nd, 1980
This is the first message in the first volume of "¿Continua Dios manifestándose a los humildes?"
In the beginning it is said: "The one who fears God will have his reward in Heaven". Deep words that remind us of those about "the Fear of Yahweh" (God) which appear in the Sacred Scriptures. For example, in the Book of Exodus Moses asks the Israelites to keep the fear of God always before their eyes "lest you should sin". (Ex, 20,20) In other Book of the Bible, it is written: "Fullness of wisdom is the fear of the Lord" (Si. 1,14); and in the Proverbs it appears as the fruit of humbleness: " The reward of humility is thefear of Yahweh" (Prv 22, 4).
The fear of God is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and it means respect for His Commandments and fear of offending Him; at the same time, its presence in our souls takes the evil away and moves our hearts towards the good.
The other sentence in the message warns us against the destiny of those souls who separate from God and refuse to reconcile with Him; these persons do not accept the grace and, consequently, they will not take part in the glory of the Blessed if they remain this way until the end of their earthly existence. The catechism of the Catholic Church teaches: "Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but a blasphemy against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven (Mt 12, 31; cf. Mk 3, 29; Lk 12, 10). There are no limits for God’s Mercy, but those who deliberately refuse to receive God’s Mercy through repentance refuse the forgiveness of their sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness may take them to the final damnation and the eternal ruin" (nº 1864).
The following words are laments of the Lord for the lack
of answer of men who do not open their hearts to the divine grace: "God
sows His seeds in hearts, but it happens that most hearts, full of thistles,
do not let the seed grow" (cf. Mt 8, 5-15; The Parable of the Sower). He
also asks to fulfil the Christian doctrine, " and the priest, monk or nun
who takes vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience must fulfil these vows";
He asks us to pray for the peace in Spain and in the world; " I ask them
not to injure the Divine Heart of Jesus and to beg for the intercession of My
Divine and Pure Mother who has her Heart pierced by grief because of so many
offences inflicted on Her Son.
At different times, the Pope John Paul II has confirmed this truth: the Virgin’s
intercession. He has just done it recently. "Together with the merciful
Heart of Christ, we venerate the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin, mediator
of grace and salvation" (Angelus, 23-6-2002).

(*) We begin these commentaries to contribute to what the Lord asked for in the last message of May the 4th, 2002. "I only ask you, my children, to meditate all the messages (...) meditate from the first one to the last one
May the 1st, 1981
That day, at night, Luz Amparo watches the virgin "who was very sad and two tears rolled down Her cheeks (...) and she was praying for the peace in the world". Then She tells us not to stop saying the Rosary to remedy the evil affecting the Church and the world: " My daughter, the Holy Rosary said with devotion is very powerful; I ask you very little: pray, because your prayer and penance will help us, My Son and I, to save many souls (...). Pray much and do much penance so that all of you can achieve your salvation. I love everybody because all of you are my children". How important our eternal salvation is! It is the most essential aspect of our lives and how little we sometimes think about it! We should frequently remember the words of the Saviour: " What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit himself?" (Lk 9,25).
She points out the value of the Eucharist, the main Sacrament: " You have to be more constant in receiving the Holy Eucharist", and She relates it to a traditional devotion in honour of the Heart of Jesus: "it is very important to take the Holy Communion with great devotion on first Fridays". Finally, She asks us to pray for priestsso that by their good examples, the Holy Spirit can illuminate them to serve God and love their neighbours, and collaborate on the salvation of souls.
The Sacred Heart appeared to Saint Mary of Alacoque repeatedly; in one of them, he revealed her: "I promise you, by the excessive mercy of My Heart, that His almighty love will give those who take Holy Communion on nine first Fridays of month running, the grace of final penance; they will not die in My disgrace without having received the Sacraments; My Divine Heart will be their safe shelter in their last moment" (Letter to M. Saumaise, 1688. This promise has been confirmed in Prado Nuevo, as we have seen)
